PIGTAILS

For many years, we have been supplying a wide range of fiber optic pigtails. We use quality tested raw materials to get the most compact design, stable performance, ease of maintenance and ease of use.

Pigtail - a short fiber-optic cable with a diameter of 900 microns (0.9 mm) or individual configuration, with a connector on only one end. The fiber is protected by a single secondary coating (usually white), known as a buffer. A pigtail is used to fix optical fibers inside racks, patch panels and optical boxes.

Three types of buffers are available:

    1.Tight: this buffer is very tight to the fibers and allows you to remove the buffer only a few centimeters (maximum 1 cm at a time);

    2.Semi-tight: this buffer adheres less tightly to the fibers and allows you to remove the buffer by a few centimeters (no more than 3 cm at a time);

    3.Loose: this buffer does not adhere to the fiber and can be removed up to a meter away. Pigtails are available with any type of connector assembled in any type of single-mode fiber (G.652D, G657A2) and multi-mode (OM2, OM3, OM4)
